Combo Scan gives you the ability to fully control the regions that will be scanned. Single shots are possible as well as going back and scan again any detail. Automatic scan can be started from any point.
Combination of scans from multiple positions is also available.
Auto and Smart buttons have the same caption for all languages of the app.
Quick Move Buttons
The buttons on the top left are for permanent move. When you press these 2dscanner will start rotating until the button is released. The rotation of 2dscanner happens always respectfully to certain acceleration and deceleration settings. So it will stop smoothly and return back to the exact position where the spot was when the button was released. This is implemented in order to avoid tilting even if you use a lightweight tripod. The preservation of the initial position is very important in order to get a quality measurement.
Precise Move Buttons
These Buttons rotate 2dscanner at certain steps and help you aim with precision. 1 step equals to 0.18°. 2000 steps is the full circle.
Starts an Automatic Scan from the current position. The screen of the Automatic Scanning will appear and it is described in detail in the Full 360 Scan.
Start a Smart Scan. It is fully described in the Smart Scan.
If you press Steps=1 you will get immediately maximum precision of 1 step=0.18°.
Get’s a single point in the current position of the red laser spot. The point is added in the drawing.
Marker Point. Tapping this will get a laser measurement. The Add Notes screen will appear. If you write a note this note will be added in the point. The point will be blue and will not interfere with the other points and the tracing lines algorithm. Useful to mark openings or other details. See also Surveying Tips.
Stops the rotation immediately.
Provides extra functionality in precise movement. It is described in the Goto Commands.
This is the same Settings as described in Auto Scan.
Real Time Drawing window
This is the drawing of the points you scan. You can zoom in, out, scroll the image and other functionality, It is described in the Real Time Drawing Window page.
Allows you to move 2dscanner to new position and combine a new scan or even produce a new scan at the same position. The next screen appears and you have to choose the method you want for the Combination of scans.
You can Save and Continue anytime just for safety or Save and End Session.
If you End Session the app prompts you to the Save File screen.
Ends the manual scan session and dumps all the points measured without saving the file.
