The settings in this screen give extra control to the user to filter the measurements in order to have a nice drawing. These filters affect only the drawing window and the DXF generation. The TXT file will still hold all the data. If you miss a point due to bad settings you can still find it using the Editor in a windows PC.

The Trace Lines Algorithm is running in real time. If we Scan a circle or a complex shape we don’t need this and you can deactivate it in order to release CPU power.

During the Scan some false measurements might be taken. Except false measurements long shots can be real points taken through a door aiming a wall in the next room. Visualization of these points alters the zoom factor of the drawing making it illegible. We can ignore them using this check box.
| Long Shot Limit 8000 |
You can filter the long shot at the distance you desire. If your room is 5000mm x 5000mm you can set this number safely to 5000.

Shiny or dark colored surfaces, windows, tiles, shots at a great angle are conditions that produce bad signal measurements. Even if we have a point we cannot trust 100% these measurements. You can exclude them from the visible part using this check box.
| Limit For Bad Signal 300 |
This limit is 300 by default. It can be altered in order to include better or worse signal points. There is no problem in experimenting with it. There is a chance that all points are excluded from drawing. Then you will see the initial short help in the drawing window.
Good measurements correspond to low signal values.
This value works in reverse:a high number indicates a poor-quality measurement, while a low number means the reading is reliable.

Enables or disables the display of dimensions on the drawing.
Dimensions are useful in simple geometries, such as ceiling scans, but they may not be convenient in complex spaces where too many dimension lines overlap.
You can switch dimensions on or off at any time.
For more information about how dimensions are generated, see here → Auto Dimensions

This setting must be enabled to achieve the maximum speed of 2000 points in approximately 4 minutes.
For applications that require millimeter-level precision, such as woodworking, it is recommended to turn it off.
However, in our tests, the difference in accuracy between the two modes is generally very small.

This check box will show or not the points scanned.
Pressing Back will return you to the previous screen. The same settings are used in both Autoscan and Manual Scan.
