Using this option you can use a point that is part of a straight line, wall and combine the next scan. Please review the Adding Stickers documentation for placing stickers in optimal positions.
The procedure is as follows.
1.After you finish the first scan, Tap Next Scan. At this point your job will be automatically saved.
2. Tap the 1 sticker.
3. If you already have the stickers in place then select the one you are going to use in the next screen and tap OK. Then continue to step 5.
4. If there are no stickers the application will prompt you to put now.
Rotate the 2dscanner from within the application toward the point where you plan to place a sticker.This point must be located at the left start of a wall.Tap Get Distance and wait for the app to confirm that this point belongs to an already-traced line.If you see a message stating that the point does not belong to a line, you will need to scan more points.In some cases, an obstacle may be interrupting the line.Only after the app verifies that the point is part of a traced line should you place the sticker at the laser spot and proceed to Step 4. The application will automatically add the sticker to the drawing.
5. A message will prompt you to move 2dscanner to new position and aim the sticker.
6. Aim at the sticker from the new position.You can adjust the direction either through the app or manually by moving the tripod.Do not rotate the 2d scanner by hand, because this will stress the motor and cause it to lose its known position. You can also move 2dscanner up or down with the tripod.
7. Once you aim the sticker, tap Get Distance. 2Dscanner will start scanning the new line to it’s full length for better precision. The step is set to 1 by default to ensure maximum precision and to reduce the risk of missing the line. Adjust this value as needed, depending on the conditions. Once the line is detected you can continue with your new scan. A message will appear saying that the scans are combined and you will have to confirm.
From this point onward, the Live Drawing window displays all scans.
Lines that belong to previous scans appear grayed out, and the individual points from older scans are not shown.
You can cancel at any stage of the proccess and repeat it as many times as you need.
