How to Connect via Bluetooth
- Enable Bluetooth on your device.
- Tap “Connect” in the app.
- Grant all requested permissions. These are required for Bluetooth communication only. The Location access is also required at some Android operating systems.
- In a few seconds you should see SN-****-IOS in the list. Tap it and the app will connect.
- That’s it! The next time, connection will be automatic and take just a few seconds.
Trouble shooting
Some devices may require additional internal permissions. If the 2Dscanner is not detected in BLE mode, do not use SPP mode immediately. First, connect the device once using the BLE Scanner app, then reopen the 2Dscanner app. It should then be able to find the device.
CAUTION: In Android 12 the pairing needs to be done after the required permissions are granted. So if you already paired just repair after you grant permissions. The application will give you a message in this case.
