In this window you can see how many scans are present in the graphics. Each scan constitutes a single block of information and their quantity depends on how many merged scans have been created in the mobile app (with the “Next Scan” command) and on how many files have been imported into the editor. Each scan has a different name automatically generated on the based on the day and time of its creation, this is to avoid conflicts in the subsequent CAD management.
The scans can be selected with the left mouse button in this window or directly in the graphics window the selected scan will be highlighted with a thick red line. In the list the blue ones are selected. It is also possible to make a multiple selection by holding down the Shift key.
The check boxes in this list control which scans are visible. You can select a scan even if it is not visible.
Selection and visibility are independent. A scan can be hidden but still selected.
When you rotate or modify scans, the changes apply to all selected scans — visible or hidden. This allows you to work on only the parts you want to see, without breaking the continuity of the full project.
Merge Scans
With Merge Scans key you can Merge all visible scans into one. A new scan named “Merged…” will appear in the window.
The application is using a complicated algorithm for this task eliminating double lines. Try to have aligned as best as possible.
