When no measurements are available, a short description is shown.
Once points have been scanned, you can tap on the drawing and the 10 auxiliary buttons on the top and right will appear.

Auto Dimensions
Application auto zooms and shows you all the received data. If straight lines are detected the application automatically adds an angle dimension in degrees.
When more Lines are traced dimensions are also added.
Dimensions are added only when lines are sequential. This means that a line will be dimensioned only if it touches two other lines.
Otherwise, it is not safe to provide an accurate dimension.
For example, if a wall is located between two doors, the scanner must rely on the frontier between the door and the wall.
This frontier is not perfectly precise, because the exact edge of the wall will always fall somewhere between two consecutive scan steps, and the minimum angular step of the scanner is 0.18°.
The size of the letters in dimensions is always the same. Zooming in or out does not affect visibility. Dimensions in complex rooms with furniture or other obstacles might be confusing. You can disable them form the Settings screen.
Auto Dimensions is a powerful function integrated in the application. It is very convenient and gives you details on site which you can check.
Auxiliary Buttons
 | Zoom in: The center of the zoom is the center of the drawing window. |

 | Zoom All: Autozoom is enabled and the drawing will automatically be scaled to view all points. |
 | Zoom Detected Lines: This button filters out distant points and automatically zooms into the area where detected lines are present in the drawing. |
 | Focus: If zoomed in, this will focus on the last taken point. |
 | Go Button is available only in Combo Scan. If you touch a point in the Real Time Drawing Window and then click GO, 2dscanner will aim that point. This provides an easy and fast positioning for rescanning details |
 | Add a note: Touch a point in the scan and then add a note. This note will be saved in the dxf at the tapped x,y coordinates. |
 | Delete a point or more: You need to tap this once. Then the points are selectable and you can choose them. Tap again the X and the app will ask confirmation for deletion. If you want to cancel then Tap Cancel in Combo Scan window. |
 | Delete Notes: Tap once in the drawing, tap the button, then tap the note you want to delete. Tap the button again to confirm the deletion. |
 | Photos: Use this button to capture photos at the last scanned point. More details are provided in the Photoshooting section. |
If you zoom in, you can move around the drawing by scrolling in any direction. During scanning, moving the image can increase CPU load and fill the command queue. Allow the application some time to process all pending data.
