- Make sure you have the latest version of the application. Build 0.0.619.0 and above.
- Go to Play Store, search “2DscannerPro”. If you see Update button then tap it.
- Transfer the firmware file to your mobile. Usually it goes to Downloads folder of the mobile device. You can use Viber, email or any method you prefer.
- Turn on 2Dscanner and connect.
- From the Tools menu click Upload firmware
- Choose the downloaded file. Usually it is in Downloads Folder.
- If the zip file is selected then the application will automatically choose the right firmware.
- At some devices the zip file is opened and requires to choose file from inside the zip.
- If this happens then you need to see the Firmware you have in the application main screen.

- The firmware has this form. 20250629-EVOL1. The parameter we need is the text after the dash. It will be one of these 3. EVOL1, 703F, 703B. Choose the file that has this parameter at the end.
- Wait for the upload to finish.
- Only when the application prompts you restart 2Dscanner.
Important notice. Do not turn off 2Dscanner even if something goes wrong. As long as 2Dscanner stays in Receiving Firmware State you can repeat the task as many times as needed.
